A message from JJ Stacks.
Early on the morning of Sunday, August 2, a fire destroyed our restaurant at 71 South Main Street. No one was there, and no one was hurt.
The building is a total loss. We have to rebuild from the ground up — and that is exactly what we intend to do.
We cannot thank the Newtown Fire Department enough. They showed up in full force, brought it under control, and helped save the other businesses on the block.
Online ordering is turned off for now. If you have been calling or messaging and have not heard back, we are sorry — there is a lot going on right now.
Thank you, Newtown, for all the support. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, we will be back.
